The Artist
Victoria's artistic training stems from her ballet and musical stage performance background, along with a classic and modern art education at the College of William & Mary. Photography became one of Victoria's earliest artistic passions, and has been her professional craft for almost two decades after shooting her first wedding at 18.
After years of training, education, and stage performance in a variety of artistic mediums, photography has remained Victoria's professional craft and passion for aLMOST TWO decadeS.
Inspired by Baroque paintings, cinema, and performing arts, Victoria utilizes a unique blend of hands-on artistic direction behind the camera, an editorial approach, dreamy lighting, and a deep knowledge of artistic principles to produce rare and extraordinary images that glow with warm, rich color and intense, romantic emotion. Embracing the look and feel of analog film, Victoria uses a medium format digital camera with a lens of a film camera to produce the finest quality imagery possible, with a fashion-forward edge and a touch of nostalgia.
